CCI-NS Annual General Meeting

Please note that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the CCI – Nova Scotia Chapter and Seminar will be held by zoom video teleconference on Thursday, September 17, 2020 commencing 7:00 pm AT.
All members in good standing in accordance with section 6.07 of our by-laws are entitled to attend and vote at the meeting. (Note: This includes Members whose fees are paid for the current fiscal year and those Members whose Membership expired on June 30th, 2020)
The Board has vacancies for two Directors and interested parties are to submit their resume and a short bio to the Chair of the Nominations Committee no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 so it can be circulated to the AGM attendees. Additional interested parties may state their intention at the meeting from the floor if so asked. (Please send the resume and bio to ccins.board@gmail.com and clearly mark in the subject line your name and membership affiliation.)
From 7:00 to 7:30 pm immediately preceding the AGM, CCI-NS will be conducting a short seminar on how to conduct a virtual AGM. Attendees will receive a detailed package on conducting a virtual AGM including set-up, notices, polling, and recording. The seminar will be followed by the practical application at the Chapter’s AGM itself. Following the AGM, the seminar will continue for about 30 minutes to discuss lessons learned and answer any questions.
