When was the last time the fire alarm went off in your dwelling? What happened? If in a building did everyone get out of the building, or did some just ignore the alarm? What do you have in place for medical emergencies? Can paramedics get quick access to someone in need? Do you have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) available if required? Do people in your community feel safe and secure within their dwellings or buildings? We often take for granted safety within our communities. The board has a responsibility to ensure that their community is a safe one. Tonight, we’ll look at health and safety within our corporation, fire prevention procedures, use of cameras and other security equipment to keep residents as safe as possible.
