CCI-NS Online Directors Course Time Concerns

I have had several questions regarding the amount of time one needs to complete the Directors Course. The answer is, it depends a lot on the learner.

The course is built around eight modules, each covering a different aspect of condominium governance.  Each module contains several submodules, with short videos and reading material followed by a quiz.  You must successfully pass the quiz before the next module is unlocked.  Each module is designed to take a few hours to complete. The course is structured to give you approximately one week for each module, although you can certainly complete it more quickly.  We have had participants finish the entire course in just a few days, while others have taken the full allotted time.  Please note that while the course is self-paced,  because of the way the NeonTrain platform is structured, the course has a fixed end date, so all modules must be completed by that date. Unfortunately, there are no extensions or credits for the material that was completed.  How quickly you complete the course will depend on the time you have available, your learning style, and your familiarity with the material. We deliberately designed the course so that participants would not feel rushed. Our hope is that the learner will take the time to reflect on each module, allow the material to sink in, and then move on to the next one. I hope this gives clarity to those wondering on the time they would need to invest to take the course.
