Video About Issues in Condos

Here is a link to a video about condominium issues that you might find interesting.    It's a video on a TV interview that took place in Toronto recently, talking about issues in the Condo world. It has some relevance to condos in Nova Scotia also, but it is important to note that there are differences in condo law in Ontario vs in Nova Scotia.  In Ontario, condominium boards  can levy special assessments without owner approval, unless it is stated otherwise in the condominium corporation's governing documents.  In Nova Scotia a board would require a 66 2/3% vote of the owners to pass.  There are other differences in condo law between Ontario and Nova Scotia as well, but we thought you might be interested in watching the video and seeing what the panel members had to say.
